Welcome to Camp Cayuga’s Skate Park! Skateboarding & Inline Skating are growing in popularity throughout the United
States and especially at camp. They’ve become two of Cayuga’s hottest activities!
SKATE PARK
Skateboarding & Inline Skating are offered daily to all campers. The activities take place at Cayuga’s Skate Park which is loaded with a variety of ramps. There are straight grind rails, kinked grind rails, quarter pipes with rails, quarter pipes without rails, bank ramps with rails, roll-ins, wedges, spines, and a recently added large half-pyramid with an angled ledge and wedge jump combo. In addition, the Skate Park also features a huge half-pipe that measures 40 feet long, 20 feet wide, and 11 feet high. It's wild! Whether you're rollerblading or skateboarding on these ramps & rails, you're guaranteed to have fun!
TOP QUALITY RAMPS
Cayuga's ramps were professionally designed and built by 2 of the industry's leaders: Woodward Ramps & Rails and Hot Rails Inc. Their ramps & rails have an excellent reputation in the skate park industry for durability, ride-ability and safety.
Cayuga's ramps are constructed to the same stringent specifications as community and professional skate parks. The skate surfaces are constructed of the best man-made material available (an upgrade called "Skatelite PRO"). In addition, all ramps have galvanized steel edging as a safety feature to eliminate sharp edges.
STAFF
Cayuga's instructors are experienced skateboarders. They’re qualified to teach skateboarding &
inline skating on all levels of ability. If you’re a beginner, you’ll learn the basic fundamentals of skateboarding and
inline skating. If you’re an advanced skater, you’ll sharpen your skills with guidance from the instructors. They’ll teach you some new tricks too! No matter what your level of ability, you’re guaranteed to have fun at Cayuga’s Skate Park.
EQUIPMENT & SAFETY
Cayuga provides the safety gear you’re required to wear at the skate park. This includes a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist pads. If you have a helmet or pads, you can bring them with you to camp. Cayuga provides
inline skates in limited sizes, so it’s best to bring your own skates. Skateboarders are required to bring their board to camp.
