CABIN ASSIGNMENTS

When a camper arrives at camp, he'll be greeted by his counselors and will already be assigned a cabin with his peers. Campers live with their contemporaries as Juniors, Intermediates, Seniors, or Super-Seniors, and are assigned to cabins according to grade and session enrolled.

A lot of attention is given to camper cabin assignments. We try to balance each cabin with a healthy mix of new and returning campers. If a child wants to be assigned to the same cabin as a friend (who is in the same grade & enrolled in the same session), he can complete a Bunk Request Form which ordinarily guarantees the friends will be together in the same cabin.

CABIN SUPERVISION
Each cabin is under the direct supervision of at least two college-enrolled counselors who live in the cabin with their campers.  Our counselors closely supervise the campers during the morning & afternoon activity periods, rest period, meal times, and the evening program.  At camper curfew time, at least one of the cabin counselors returns to the cabin with his/ her campers and remains with his/her campers throughout the entire evening.  (The counselor does not leave the cabin building after the campers are in bed!)  In this way, close supervision is provided to our campers 24 hours a day!
