CANADA & NIAGARA FALLS TRIP

The Canada and Niagara Falls Trip is loaded with excitement and adventure. The fun starts with lunch at the Hard Rock Café at Niagara Falls. Afterwards, you’ll view the magnificent Falls from the Observation Tower at Prospect Point. You'll ride up the glass-walled elevator that rises above the Falls and descends to the base of the gorge for two different breathtaking perspectives of the Falls. It’s really cool. Then, you’ll tour the Cave of the Winds where you'll hear and feel the water thunder on the rocks while the water and cool mist rushes all around you. We’ll provide you with waterproof clothing for this part of the trip. And best of all, you’ll board the world famous Maid of the Mist and enjoy a boat ride to the basin of the Falls. It's a boat ride you’ll never forget!

Your next day is filled with excitement at Canada's Wonderland in Toronto. This is Canada's premier theme park that features over 200 attractions and 60 thrilling rides, including the greatest variety of roller coasters in North America! There are 15 different roller coasters, including Behemoth (Canada’s biggest, fastest, tallest roller coaster), Vortex (Canada’s first suspended roller coaster), Flight Deck (Canada’s only inverted looping jet coaster), and the Mighty Canadian Minebuster (the largest & longest wooden coaster in Canada). And if you like getting soaked, you have to ride on Timberwolf Falls (the ultimate log flume adventure) and the White Water Canyon (powerful rapids with hidden geysers that soak you). And of course, there are plenty of high-thrill aggressive rides too, including Xtreme Skyflyer (Canada’s largest free-fall swing).

On day #3 you’ll visit Ontario Science Center, the #1 leading developer of interactive exhibitions for science centers around the world. It’s a vast playground of science and technology with over 800 hands-on exhibits. The Science Center’s mission is to delight, inform and challenge you through engaging and thought-provoking experiences in science and technology. It transforms the way in which you see and think about the world around you through interactive exhibitions, programs, science demonstrations, and IMAX films. The Ontario Science Center exposes you to the ever-changing world of current science, offers experiences where there are no pre-determined outcomes, and poses questions for which there are no answers. The Science Center is fun & interesting, and a great way to end your exciting 3-day trip!

In the past, some of our campers' favorite exhibits have included *The Living Earth - Here you can touch a tornado or explore a cave, examine reef eco-system, or go on a virtual flight and see Earth from an eagle’s perspective. While you’re there, check-out a real whale skeleton!  *IMAX Dome Films - With a screen 4,500 times bigger than an average TV screen delivering 13,000 watts of sound from 44 speakers, your senses will be overwhelmed by the biggest, most involving film experience ever.  The IMAX film experience takes about 1 hour.  *Weston Family Innovation Center is the Science Centre’s very own “Times Square” where you can soak up a steady stream of daily science and technology headlines, and check-out the massive screen displaying an array of breaking news.  There's a lot of activities to do in the 10 exhibition halls at the Ontario Science Center, and to learn more, take a virtual tour.
