SIBLING CREDIT:
Cayuga extends a discount to families who enroll 2 or more children.  The tuition is credited $400 for each additional sibling enrolled for the full-season and $300, $200, and $100 for the 6-week session, half-session, and 2-week mini-session respectively.  The shorter session is used to determine the credit.  There is no sibling credit for a stay less than 2 weeks.

CANTEEN FUND:
The Canteen Fund is the only mandatory charge in addition to the camp tuition. The Canteen Fund charge is $315 (full-season), $215 (6-week session), $175 (first & last half-session), $135 (first & last 2-week mini session), $95 (middle half-session), and $65 (second & third 2-week mini-session). The Canteen Fund covers: one official Camp Cayuga T-shirt; Laundry Service; Snack Allowance (2 items - about $2.00) for 5 days per week; off-season newsletters and other mailings.  In addition, the Canteen charge includes admission fee & bus transportation to Amusement Parks as follows: Campers enrolled for the full-season attend two Amusement Park trips. Campers enrolled for 6-weeks; first & last half-session, first 2-weeks, and last 2-weeks attend one Amusement Park trip. There is no Amusement Park trip during the middle half-session, second 2-week & third 2-week mini-sessions. Since the total cost of the canteen items exceeds the amount charged, there is never a prorated refund of the Canteen Fund.  Do not confuse Canteen Fund with your camper's Camp Bank, which holds your child's "spending money" for personal expenditures and nominal da-trip fees.

ENROLLMENT DETAILS

CAMP SESSIONS: Camp Cayuga offers a variety of sessions ranging from 13 days to 55 days, including: Full-Season (55 days), Six-Week Sessions (41 days), Half Sessions (27-28 days), and 2-Week Mini-Sessions (13-14 days).  Cayuga's summer program is designed with the full-season camper in mind. Diversity and nonrepetition of the program are two guidelines we use in planning the summer's schedule of events.

SESSION EXTENSIONS:  It’s common for campers to request an extension.  We’ll accept session extensions, as long as there’s space available.  If your child expresses an interest in staying longer, we’ll contact you to discuss the matter.  If prior to camp you anticipate your child extending his session, let us know now.  A “possible" session extension is a factor in determining your camper’s cabin assignment.

TUITION RATES & DISCOUNTS ARE RETROACTIVE:  In the event of a session extension, the actual session attended will be charged.  For example, if the first-half session is extended 2 more weeks, the 6-week session fee is charged (not the first-half fee plus the third 2-week fee).  This will result in savings to you!  In addition, the 6-week early registration discount that was offered at the time you originally enrolled will be retroactively applied.  This will result in savings too!  In the case of siblings, the sibling credit will increase depending upon the length of the extension.

CAMP UNIFORM:  The camp uniform is worn on camp trips, Visiting Days, and during intercamp tournaments.  There is no "daily" uniform.  The camp uniform consists of a red Cayuga t-shirt and black shorts.  Campers are given one red Cayuga t-shirt on arrival day, or shortly thereafter.  This t-shirt is included in the canteen fee.  Campers are required to bring two additional solid red t-shirts (Cayuga red t-shirts) and two pair of black shorts.  Red Cayuga t-shirts and black shorts are available for purchase at the canteen.  Purchase is not required.

CLOTHING LIST:  Our campers and staff members dress comfortably in shorts and a t-shirt.  The camp's style is down-to-earth, and high-fashion is de-emphasized.  Our clothing list is a general guide for articles the average child will need at camp based on a 10-day rotation. That is, the camp laundry is picked-up about once a week and returned in 2 days.  For the most part, it makes no difference how long the camper is enrolled in camp. Clothing can be brought to camp in soft or hard trunks, duffel bags, and/or suitcases. Click here for a printable version of our Recommended Clothing List.

CAMP EQUIPMENT: Camp Cayuga provides the equipment and gear for most activities, such as top quality tennis rackets, certified helmets (except for lacrosse), fishing poles, shin guards, diabolos & devil sticks (for circus arts), etc.  Please refer to Cayuga's recommended clothing list for exceptions requiring campers to bring their own equipment.

LAUNDRY SERVICE: The canteen fee includes a weekly laundering of your camper's clothing and linens. It takes two days for the laundry to be washed and returned.  All clothing and gear needs to be marked for identification purposes. In addition, Cayuga offers an optional Linen Rental Service which includes blankets, sheets, and pillowcases.  Click here for more information about the Linen Rental Service.

OPTIONAL LINEN RENTAL SERVICE: This service includes sheets, pillowcases, and blankets.  Pillows, towels, and washcloths are not included and need to be provided by the camper.  The charge for this optional service is $110 (full-season), $80 (6-week session), $55 (half-session), and $30 (2-week mini-session). There is no prorated refund for this service.  To register for this optional service, click here.  Note: The laundering of all linens (and clothing) is included in the Canteen Fund.

OPTIONAL BUS TRANSPORTATION AND BAGGAGE SERVICE: Camp Cayuga provides bus transportation and baggage service 4 times during the camp season: 1) On opening day; 2) From camp at the end of the first-half session and second 2-week mini-session; 3) To camp at the beginning of the second-half and third 2-week mini-session; and 4) From camp at the end of the full season. This service caters to the areas of New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Maryland.  The bus ride to camp is a great way to make friends and start the summer camp experience.  We highly recommend the Bus & Baggage Service!  The charge for this optional service is $180 roundtrip (or $95 one-way), except for White Marsh, Maryland, which is $190 roundtrip (or $100 one-way). To register for this optional service, click here

OPTIONAL AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION SERVICE: Camp Cayuga provides transportation to/from 3 airports on the first & last day of each session.  On arrival day one of our staff members will personally escort your child from the terminal gate to Camp Cayuga.  On departure day a staff member will accompany your child from Cayuga to the airline’s terminal gate.  Staff members will remain at the airport until they receive confirmation that your child’s plane is in the air.  The roundtrip charge per child is $120 ($60 one-way) for Scranton Wilkes-Barre Airport (Avoca, Pennsylvania), $180 ($90 one-way) for Newark International Airport (New Jersey), and $210 ($105 one-way) for JFK International Airport (Jamaica, New York).  If the camper’s flight date is scheduled on any date other than an official camp session date, an extra fee will be added to the Airport Service fee as follows: Newark Airport (extra $35 one-way), JFK Airport (extra $55 one-way), and Wilkes-Barre Scranton (no extra fee applicable).  We discourage JFK Airport for travel-time purposes. To register for this optional service, click hereBefore making your flight arrangements, please read the Airport Transportation Instructions which includes information about flight time restrictions.  Click here for the Airport Instructions.  After making your flight arrangements, an Airport Transportation Itinerary Form must be completed.  Click here for the Itinerary Form.

Campers simply sign-up at camp.  Theatre trip dates are not posted on our “Calendar of Events”.

SCUBA DIVING CLINIC FEE:  The Scuba Diving Clinic is optional and not included in the camp tuition.  The charge is $40 for the one-hour clinic, which takes place at the main swimming pool. PADI certified divers from Inland Water Sports teach the fundamentals of scuba diving.  Campers who are entering 5th grade or higher and have basic swimming skills are eligible to participate.  Scuba Diving Clinics are available during each camp session.  Advance registration is required. PAINTBALL ACTIVITY FEE: Paintball is an optional activity and not included in the camp tuition. The charge is $40 per session. Each paintball session is approximately 2 hours, which typically includes about 3 or 4 games. Campers are given a minimum of 300 paintball pellets per session.  Campers who are entering the 5th grade or higher are eligible to participate.  Advance registration is required. To register for this optional activity, click here. To learn more about Cayuga's Paintball Program, click here.

ATV QUAD RIDING ACTIVITY FEE:  ATV Quad Riding (4-wheelers) is an optional activity and not included in the camp tuition. The charge is $50 per period (50-minutes).  Campers who enroll in the ATV Quad Riding Activity will be given a Safety Control Test at camp to determine their ability to manage the quad and understand its operation.  If the instructors determine the camper can safely operate the quad, he will be granted permission to participate in this activity.  If the camper is evaluated as being unable to control the quad, the extra program fee will be fully refunded.  Cayuga uses child-size ATVs and provides the safety equipment.  While there are no strict "age" restrictions (eligibility is based on ability), we recommend campers to be 12 years of age or older.  Advance registration is required. To register for this optional activity, click here.

ACADEMIC TUTORING FEE:  Academic Tutoring is an optional program and not included in the camp tuition. The charge is $40 per session (50-minutes).  Tutoring is provided at camp by certified teachers and/or qualified graduate/college students.  Available tutoring subjects include reading, math, and conversational English for international campers. Parents are required to provide Cayuga with the necessary study materials.  We do NOT recommend registering in this program unless it’s deemed necessary.  Our summer camp program is not conducive to studying!  Advance registration is required. To register for this optional program, click here.

ENROLLMENT CANCELLATION FEE:  Enrollments cancelled on or April 30th incur a $250 fee.  Enrollments cancelled after April 30th incur a $500 fee.  All remaining payments are fully refunded.

RAIN OR SHINE!

OPEN HOUSE FOR NEW CAMPERS

Each Spring we schedule an Open House for our new campers and their families. It's an ideal time for touring camp! You'll have an opportunity to see the cabins, pools, dining halls, gyms, creative arts pavilions, dance studio, tennis center, athletic fields, and a lot more. You'll also meet several Cayuga staff members who will gladly answer all of your questions. Open House is a great way to learn more about Cayuga and familiarize yourself with the camp's facilities. We hope you'll be joining us!

Please plan your arrival after 12:30pm. Our first tour is scheduled at 1:00pm. Tours of Junior Campus & Teen Campus will be conducted about every 20 minutes. Each tour takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Our last tour of the day is scheduled at 3:15pm. Open House is scheduled to end at 4:00pm. Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the day. (Sorry, no pets are permitted on the camp premises.)

CAMP TOURS
Families, who are unable to attend Open House, are welcome to tour Cayuga at any time.
